Marc Reynolds is a native of Los Angeles and received a Bachelor of Music degree in vocal performance from Brigham Young University. He is currently working on his Master of Music degree in opera directing.
Marc has performed various roles on the operatic stage including Frank in Die Fledermaus, Bob in The Old Maid and the Thief, The Major General in The Pirates of Penzance, Coline in La Boheme and Pooh-Bah in The Mikado. He is currently studying voice with Professor William Lewis.
As a director, Marc has directed scenes from Romeo et Juliette, Don Quichotte (Massenet), Dialogues des Carmelites, The Gondoliers, Le Villi, and Le Nozze di Figaro. He was also the director of Gianni Schicchi for the Butler Opera Center Ensemble. He has served as the Assistant Director to Alan Hicks in the Butler Opera Center's production of Susannah, Dr. Robert DeSimone in the Butler Opera Center's production of Trouble in Tahitii, and to Dr. Lawrence Vincent in BYU Opera's production of The Gondoliers. Marc currently studies opera directing with Dr. Robert DeSimone.
