Maranda Childs graduated from Saint Olaf College in 2008 and was the student of Janis Hardy and George Smith. She has appeared as a soloist with the Saint Olaf Cantorei, Saint Olaf Early Music Singers and with the Saint Olaf Orchestra. In 2006, she received 1st place at the National Association of Teachers of Singing auditions and was a finalist in the Schubert Club scholarship auditions. Miss Childs is pursuing her Master of Music degree in Opera Performance and studies with Professor Darlene Wiley.
