Rose Taylor, Professor of Voice, has performed operatic roles with the Dallas, Chicago Lyric, Ft. Worth, Minnesota, Cincinnati, Lake George, Des Moines Metro, Kansas City Lyric, Peoria and Austin Lyric opera companies. She has also sung with the Boston, Chicago, National, Minnesota, Buffalo Philharmonic, Austin and Detroit symphony orchestras and was invited for ten consecutive years to sing the Philadelphia Orchestra’s annual Messiah. In Yugoslavia she has sung Ulrica in Ballo in Maschera with the National Theatre of both Belgrade and Zagreb, and has premiered operas by Dominick Argento, Robert Xavier Rodriguez and Peter Schat.
