Details: The Austin Civic Orchestra presents, "Scandal to Symphony: An Emotional Journey" with music by Franck, Barber and Tchaikovsky and featuring guest pianist, Michelle Schumann. Schumann, Artistic Director of the Austin Chamber Music Center, will perform Franck's Symphonic Variations for Piano and Orchestra. Under the direction of Dr. Lois Ferrari, the Orchestra will also perform Samuel Barber's Overture to "The School for Scandal" and Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 6 in B minor, Op. 74, Pathétique.

The evening's repertoire will soothe, thrill and awaken your musical senses. Ferrari states,
