Endowments
Endowments are a special kind of gift. They celebrate the lives of generous donors'
families or friends, as well as corporations, foundations and other special groups,
forever linking their names to the life and purpose of the College of Fine Arts.
Each endowment is publicly recognized by a plaque hung in perpetuity within one
of the College's four fine arts buildings.
Faculty Endowments
Faculty endowments enable the College to offer supplemental salary support to faculty
and special funds to distinguished lecturers. They also support and reward faculty
for exemplary research and scholarly efforts. In the College as in most arenas,
excellence attracts excellence. Each outstanding faculty member an endowment helps
attract or retain enhances the College's ability to attract the next outstanding
scholar.
