Hunter C. March, Professor of Music Education, teaches undergraduate courses in Secondary School General and Choral Music Methods, and graduate courses in Music Listening and Children’s Choirs. He is a recipient of the College of Fine Arts Teaching Excellence Award and was cited by the Music Educators National Conference for having developed an exemplary program in junior high general and choral music for Ann Arbor, Michigan. Dr. March is much in demand as a clinician and has presented workshops for public schools throughout the United States, at National, Divisional, and State MENC conferences, and for the Department of Defense Overseas Dependent Schools. He is an author of Silver Burdett Ginn’s World of Choral Music and The Music Connection. Dr. March has served the music education profession as Chair of the Society for General Music, Vice-President of the Texas Music Educators Association, and Chair of the Texas Alliance for the Arts.
