Directed by William Lewis, the Undergraduate Opera Ensemble meets at 2:00 pm on Tuesday and Thursday. Scenes, arias or complete operas are assigned at the beginning of the course. Studies include role preparation, musical preparation, language coaching,and acting, culminating in performances at the end of each semester. Previously performed repertory includes: Old Maid and the Thief, Der Schauspieldirektor, Dido and Aeneas, The Mother of Us All.
