How do I schedule a dress rehearsal?
Dress Rehearsal Scheduling Instructions
- You may schedule one
two hour dress rehearsal for your recital as far in advance as you prefer. It is recommended to reserve your dress rehearsal as soon as you know your recital date. Dress rehearsal slots are on a first come first serve basis. Any requests beyond the one two hour slot must be submitted only one week in advance of the date being requested.
- First, go to the music website and look for hall availability. You may do this by clicking on "Room view" under the calendar on the home page. Then email the scheduling office with your request. Requests can be sent to scheduling@mail.music.utexas.edu.

Room reservation policy
- All requests for regular practice and rehearsals in rooms, including performance halls, should be emailed to rooms@mail.music.utexas.edu.
- This email address is checked several times daily, and room requests are on a first-come, first serve basis.
- Requests for regular rehearsals/practice in halls and rooms should be no earlier than one week (7 days) in advance, and no later than twenty-four (24) hours prior to the date requested.
- All rooms and performance halls are only open for use to current Butler School of Music faculty, students, and staff.
