Spring 2008 Recital Scheduling Information
The Butler School of Music has implemented a new Recital Fee that replaces the old Recording Fee.
- All students will be required to pay the Recital Fee.
- Fee payments will cover the cost of using the facilities, including recording, and all students will have their
recital recorded.
Paying the fee:
- Students will receive fee payment vouchers via the recital scheduling/management
website.
- Fee payments vouchers will not be available until the student, faculty, and Graduate
or Undergraduate Office has approved the recital. If any of these individuals denies
the recital date, the recital will be cancelled and the recital fee payment will
not be required.
- Students will be notified via email when their recital fee payment voucher is available.
- Fees must be paid by the following deadlines:
- 4th class day of the semester in which the student is performing a recital for students
who scheduled the previous semester.
- 5 days after the voucher is available for students scheduling in the same semester
in which the recital will be performed.
- Students will not have a confirmed recital until after the recital fee payment has
been made. Failure to pay the fee by the deadline will result in financial bar on
the student’s account.
- Fee payments must be made to the secure drop box installed in the Scheduling Office
door (not the plastic file box on the door). Payments may be made by check, money
order, or credit card.
- Students will receive an automated email when their payment has been processed,
and receipts will be available at the recital scheduling/management site.
Other Information:
- Conducting students are required to pay for any non-compilation recital that is
performed in Butler School of Music facilities other than DMA 1.
- Opera students using their opera roles as a recital are required to pay the
fee.
- Non-degree recitalists are required to pay the fee.
If it is currently a recital scheduling period, please go to the
Recital Scheduling Website to schedule your recital.
If you are already scheduled for a recital, go to
Recital Management to accept your time and complete the necessary forms.
