  • Asterisk indicates that a jury is required for advancement to the next level; faculty may request additional juries of any student or may retain a student at any level.
  • The order of the 462’s and the junior and senior recitals may vary; a junior recital is sometimes done in the fall semester rather than in the spring semester.
  • If you are required to take a jury, or if your teacher asks you to do a jury during a semester when you are not otherwise required to do one, you need to follow this procedure:
Obtain your jury sheet from your instructor. Only your instructor is able to provide you with a jury sheet. Your instructor will receive jury sheets to give out about three weeks before the end of classes.

Fill it out and turn it in promptly to the student office.

Sign up on the board outside the student office for a jury time. Be sure to consult your final exam schedule and your accompanist (if needed) before finalizing your jury time.
  • It is YOUR responsibility to know when you are required to perform juries, to obtain and submit a jury sheet, and to sign up for a jury appointment time.
